WHAT IS GYROTONIC® EXERCISE?

The GYROTONIC®  method offers similar benefits also derived from Yoga, Tai Chi and dance. GYROTONIC® exercise sequences are composed of spiralling, circular movements, which flow together seamlessly in rhythmic repetitions with corresponding breathing patterns.  Each exercise flows into the next allowing the joints to move through a natural range of fluid motions. These sequences create stability, strength and flexibility.

 

GYROTONIC® exercise is practiced by people from all walks of life including athletes and dancers, yoga practitioners, people rehabilitating from injuries, senior citizens and people with disabilities. A single session can provide great benefits including relief from muscle tension, fatigue and increased flexibility.  After a few weeks of training, you will feel increased strength and flexibility, renewed energy and a general sense of calm and wellbeing.

WHAT IS GYROKINESIS® EXERCISE?

GYROKINESIS®  exercise is a dynamic mat-based workout invented by Juliu Horvath.  It produces the same benefits as GYROTONIC® method and shares all the core principles of the GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® without the use of equipment.  It is a series of movements done on a stool and on a mat that provide a complete stimulation for the entire body. 

GYROKINESIS® exercise is a movement method that supports all movers at all levels. Utilising the natural motions of the spine, this method encourages an increase in range of motion, decompression of the spine and prevents stagnation and tightness in the body.
